Being a Mom

I enjoyed two days with a couple of girlfriends up in Bloomington, IL at the annual Hearts at Home Conference...a conference just for moms. I went last year and the funny thing is that I went "relunctantly" last year... really hating those types of things... and well... I ended up really benefitting and enjoying it... plus the away from home girl time was a bonus, too! So, we went together again this year, stayed over night on Friday and went to the conference on Saturday. We arrived at the hotel Friday afternoon and had big plans to find something to do... funny how being with girls you end up talking the time away...even being sick with laryngitis!!

So, all I can say is for all those moms and to be moms out there... finding a Hearts at Home conference near you is well worth your time and money! I came away refreshed with a better appreciation for what I do as a mom and even learned alot! Thumbs up!!
