Goodbye darkness!!!

So, I am SOOO excited that I, Ann Winans, was able to post a picture! I truly feel like I ventured into a new era. And the funniest thing of all, was that it was so easy. Almost embarrassingly funny easy!!!! To all who have "held out" in randomly checking this blog for any "udpates" or pictures... and for those of you who have harrassed me about getting pictures up (MEL!)... thanks! I am really excited about this new change in direction. I am so tired of the "dark" "sad" "depressing" entries in the last 1/2 year. I'm ready for a BRIGHT change!! In fact, I have updates!

First of all, the picture above is of Kaylor and Lauren this past weekend while visiting my parents in Wisconsin. The lady in the middle is Lisa, who owns a FABULOUS toy story in my home town, called Smarty Pants. She and her family are good friends of my brother's, so we love visiting her and the store when we visit. She was celebrating 5 years... so there's the explanation for the girls' flowered balloon hats. We had fun. Lauren is now 2 1/2 (sooon to be 3!) and Kaylor is 4.

Ok, so to the updates... about three weeks ago we put our house on the market and it sold last week! We are planning to move to Rochester, IL....just about 1/2 from where we currently live. It puts us closer to where I work (like a 10 big step distance...the house is right next to the church!) and obviously closer to Josh's work and even closer to the family farm. We will be making this transition by the end of October. I'll let you know our new address, etc. at a later date. The best thing about this whole "house selling" thing is that God has extended to us His rich mercy and grace in how we are even able to live in Rochester now! I'm so incredibly thankful that we have been a recipient of answered prayers!

So, that's kinda the latest on us... I will post this and try and get other pictures up, too!
